YOGA WITH BEX TYRER

It is my pleasure to share this yoga practice taken from one of my friends, Bex Tyrer’s online courses entitled “Yoga for Stress & Anxiety: A Healing Journey for Women.” Bex specialises in women’s health, menstrual cycle awareness and social justice.

 This specific practice includes 3 videos: The introduction, the main practice and then the closing or “sealing.” The practice is fairly gentle, and based upon a Hatha Yoga series named “the pavanmuktasana” series. Pavanmuktasana means “energy releasing” or “joint freeing poses.”

In the practice, Bex guides you systematically through the joints from the toes up to the head. It is a beautiful practice to shift stagnation and support vitality to circulate optimally. Over time, the series can support you to generate even more awareness of your physical body as well cultivate a meditation in motion. It is a wonderful practice to build self-awareness.
